First Aid/CPR Through the American Red Cross

HighQ is proud to partner with donors to provide a First Aid/CPR and AED Certification Program  through the American Red Cross to early childhood professionals of NW Arkansas. Each participant that successfully completes the program will receive a two year certification for a minimal fee of $5.00 for ECIC members or $50.00 for non-members.

Complete the First Aid/CPR and AED Certification Program Application, mark the desired training date(s), and return three weeks prior to the date(s) requested. All applications will be considered. A maximum of 4 individuals per program per training will be accepted, however, additional participants may be allowed based on availability. Participants must be employed at a licensed early childhood program that serves children 6 weeks to 5 years of age. We understand that sometimes, problems arise. Therefore, participant registration can be cancelled up to 24 hours before the scheduled training. How do we begin to eliminate 6 classes of chemicals, that cause significant health issues, from  early childhood programs?  Each session will focus on different elements such as furniture and naptime, air quality, cleaning practices, kitchen and dining, toys, and art supplies.  Every change creates a healthier environment for our children!

This is a 3 night training that takes place on September 4, 11, & 18 from 4:00-6:00 pm.
